Henosis Saving & Credit Cooperative Society invite qualified and potential candidates to external applicants for the following positions:

Position: 1. INTERNSHIP-TO-HIRE TRAINING PROGRAM

Henosis SACCOS has a vision to be ‘ one of the best SACCO in Ethiopia that fulfills its members’ economic and social needs by 2030” with mission of ‘Improve socio-economic conditions of members & other people through mobilizing saving and creating access of credit’.

Training Title

“Grow Your Career While Empowering Members to Save and Prosper.”

This training is an Internship-to-Hire Program. The trainees will have enough knowledge and practical experience on SACCO Foundations & Professional Mindset, Member Relations & Communication Skills, Saving Mobilization & Sales Techniques, Operations, Reporting & Performance Evaluation.

Employment Opportunity

Only trainees who successfully pass the training assessment and performance evaluation will be hired as staff members.

Key Responsibilities During and After Training

  • Build strong relationships with SACCO members and prospective clients
  • Mobilize savings and promote SACCO financial products and services
  • Conduct field outreach and awareness campaigns
  • Support member registration and account opening processes
  • Maintain professional communication with members
  • Prepare daily and weekly mobilization reports
  • Participate in financial literacy and promotional activities
  • Contribute to member satisfaction and institutional growth

Qualification Requirements

  • Certificate in any course or program
  • BA Degree or Diploma in any social science and natural science field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in sales, marketing, and member engagement
  • Good discipline, confidence, and teamwork spirit
  • Ability to work under targets and field conditions
  • Computer proficiency is advantageous

Position:2. Branch Manager

Required Number: 7

Reports to: executive office Manager

Place of Work: Addis Ababa

Term of Employment: Permanent

Salary: Negotiable

Job Summary:

The Branch Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the overall activities of the branch office. S/he ensures efficient delivery of financial services, mobilization of savings, loan administration, member service improvement, and achievement of operational targets of the SACCO. The Branch Manager supervises branch employees, ensures compliance with cooperative policies and procedures, prepares branch performance reports, and promotes the growth and sustainability of the SACCO through effective leadership and relationship management with members and stakeholders. S/he is also responsible for monitoring financial performance, ensuring proper cash management, loan follow-up, and maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Main Duties:

  • Plan, organize and supervise overall branch operations
  • Mobilize savings and expand membership growth
  • Monitor loan processing, disbursement, and recovery activities
  • Ensure proper financial management and daily cash control
  • Prepare and submit operational and financial reports
  • Supervise branch staff and evaluate performance
  • Ensure compliance with SACCO policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Maintain strong relationship with members and stakeholders
  • Promote quality customer service and operational efficiency

Qualification:

  • BA/MA Degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Cooperative Accounting and Auditing, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years for BA Degree holders or 5 years for MA Degree holders, preferably in SACCO, cooperative, microfinance, or banking institutions, with managerial experience.
